uniformity.
Construction-
Standard construction
is Woodboard with plastic laminate exterior. Epoxy Painted
Steel, 304 or 316L Stainless Steel units are also available.
Rear-loaded HEPA filters. Protective plastic egg crate
diffuser screen in front of HEPA filter keeps uniform air
velocity within work area.
Electrical & Power Requirements-
All
electrical components are UL Approved. Standard 115v, 15
amp, 1 Ph, 60 Hz. SJO power cord w/ 3-prong ground plug.
Motor/Blower Assembly-
High efficiency motors
to reduce electrical load. Motors are thermally protected &
self-lubricating. High capacity metal forward curved blowers
with direct drive motors. Fan statically balanced to
maintain constant airflow. Motors/Blowers are selected to
maintain constant airflow rate up 2x the initial static
pressure.
Lighting-
Recessed 2 pin
fluorescent lighting. 125 ft. candle +/- 20 ft. candles.
Plastic prismatic lens cover maximizes light diffusion.
Controls-
Solid state, adjustable airflow control, 80-120 fpm, 15A
max. load capacity, internally mounted to prohibit
accidental change. Illuminated switches on face panel for
motor & lights.

free-standing console design providing an ISO 5/Class 100
atmosphere in an operator workstation environment.
Completely self-contained, it functions effectively in an
uncontrolled area. Clearance under the work surface allows
for installation of sinks, tanks, plumbing and other special
equipment. The unit is stationary, permitting electric, gas,
and water hookups. Individually tested and certified to meet
or exceed the specifications for Unidirectional Flow
Clean-Air Devices as per Institute of Environmental Sciences
and Technology IEST-RP-CC002.2.
